Feature details

Cross-border access by use case

Different use cases call for different criteria. Office work depends on connection continuity; streaming depends on the exit region and route type; long-term use also involves device switching, data rules and refund terms. The sections below explain each point based on practical usage.

ROUTE / EFFICIENCY

Compare route types during peak hours

The real-world experience of a cross-border connection depends not only on the destination, but also on how the links are arranged from the local network to the entry point and from the entry point to the exit. 94VPN offers relay, IEPL dedicated and direct routes. For everyday use, start with a nearby region, then switch route types based on the task: choose a relay or dedicated route for sustained transfers, and select the content's region when a specific exit location is needed. The client keeps route switching accessible, so local congestion does not require reconfiguring every device.

Connection quality varies with the local carrier, location and time of day, so this page does not use fixed speed-test results in place of your own network assessment. Test your frequently used regions first, then save route combinations suited to office work, streaming and file downloads.

Your actual usage path

A clear path from account to connection

94VPN keeps your account, plans, clients and subscriptions together in the user panel. Public pages explain the service; the user panel delivers subscription details, so you do not have to hunt across multiple pages for installers or copy URLs from unknown sources.

No email address required

Create an account with a username and password

Creating an account only requires a username and password—no email address required. In the user panel, you can view plans, get clients, manage subscriptions and submit support tickets. Save account details yourself, especially when configuring multiple devices, and do not place complete subscription details in public documents or group chats.

After choosing a plan, complete the first connection on your primary device, then add other devices gradually. This makes it easier to tell whether an issue comes from the account, client permissions, local network or a specific route. Configuring every device at once greatly expands the troubleshooting scope when something goes wrong.

A

Confirm your use case first

For web work and AI tools, prioritize session continuity and a stable exit region. For region-specific content, confirm the content's region first. For multiple devices kept online, also check background settings on each operating system. Define the task before choosing a route; this is more efficient than switching randomly.

B

Choose a tier by monthly data use

Monthly subscriptions come in 60GB, 250GB and 500GB tiers, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Light browsing and occasional use can start with a lower tier; frequent streaming, file downloads or multi-device use call for a higher tier based on past consumption. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated across the remaining days.

C

Get the client from the user panel

Client access for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux is consolidated in the user panel. Sign in to get the client and subscription for your current system rather than downloading a static installer from a marketing page. After importing, grant the required VPN permission and use a nearby route for the first connection test.

D

Verify the result with the target service

A connection icon does not mean the target task is complete. Open the website, app or content service you actually plan to use and check sign-in, page loading and sustained operation. If the result is not satisfactory, keep the target region unchanged and switch only the route type; this reduces interference from changing the account region and exit region at the same time.

The key to long-term use is not constant tweaking. After the initial test, save regular routes for office work, AI tools and streaming separately. Switch on the device only when the use case changes instead of reviewing every route each time. When an issue occurs, check “account status, client permissions, local network, target region, route type” in that order; this usually finds the cause faster than reinstalling.

Popular regions and route types

Start route selection with the target region, then compare IEPL dedicated, relay and direct routes. The table below outlines common regions and suitable use cases; it does not list fixed latency or load. Actual performance depends on the local network, time of day and target service.

Country/region City Route type Streaming Best suited for
Hong Kong Hong Kong IEPL dedicated Supported checks Web work, file transfers and everyday connections
Japan Tokyo Relay Supported checks Japan-region content, game resources and developer services
Singapore Singapore Relay Supported checks Southeast Asian services, cross-region collaboration and web access
United States Los Angeles Optimized direct Supported checks AI tools, US-region services and content platforms
Netherlands Amsterdam Direct Supported checks European services, remote collaboration and resource access

Selection order matters more than route names

First identify the region of the target service, then choose the corresponding country or a nearby region; next compare route types within that region. If you need to stay signed in for a long time, minimize cross-region switching. If your goal is simply to open an international website or download public resources, start with a nearby entry point. During local congestion, switch to another route in the same region instead of changing the region, client and network at once.

Streaming platforms independently adjust their region-detection rules. “Supported checks” means that the corresponding test entry point is available for that region; it is not a fixed result guarantee for every account, piece of content or time period. Account region, payment region, app cache and exit IP can all affect the final content shown.
