What this information means
The results describe the public endpoint used when your browser accesses this site. They help confirm whether the route has changed and whether the current endpoint matches the target region.
Country or region
The location is based on IP registration and network routing data, making it useful for identifying the endpoint region. Database updates can lag, so city-level details may differ from the data center's actual location.
Network provider
The ISP field identifies the carrier, cloud provider or network organization associated with the current endpoint. Different routes may use different endpoint organizations; this does not directly indicate route speed.
Proxy identification
This field displays only the identification result returned by the GeoIP API. The status depends on the database's criteria and cannot by itself determine connection quality, encryption status or the specific route type.
Separate-link verification
DNS leak self-check
The public endpoint and DNS resolution are separate paths. The current results card checks the public endpoint; a DNS self-check also requires reviewing the resolver used by your system or client, so the public IP result cannot replace it.
Keep the target route connected during the check, then review your system's network details or the client's DNS settings. If the resolver's region continues to point to the original network while the public IP has switched to the target region, your DNS configuration needs further review.
Recommended checking order
- Record the endpoint before connecting Open this page while disconnected from the route and note the current IP and location.
- Retest after connecting to the target route Use “Check again” to refresh the results and confirm that the public endpoint has changed.
- View the current DNS configuration Check the resolver currently in use in your system network details or client settings.
- Resolve a regional mismatch If the resolver still belongs to the original network, enable the DNS takeover setting provided by your client, then reconnect.
